AOCF Articles!

ACA's national conference is held in February each year. And this year, it was held on 12th to 15th in Nashville, Tennessee. Just like it sounds, it's for ACA members. But it is also opened for international participants with pre-congress tour, ACA president's reception, etc.

The pre-congress tour was perfectly well arranged by Linda and Richard who always take care of international participants at ACA conference. We visited diverse 6 camps, from a museum in town to the space!!

During the conference, there were more than 100 educational sessions, a huge exhibition of camp business, and fun activities. The camp market of US is very different from the one of Japan or other countries in Asia, and we may not have much in common. But at the same time, we have a lot in common. I thin ACA national conference is a very good chance for me to meditate how to extend the benefit of camp or how to create attractive programs.

ACA 2009 National Conference will be held on 17th to 20th of February at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Orlando, Florida. Why not join in!!
