The association has been joined to both the Asian and International Federations of Children's Camps and has successfully organized several national-scale activities.
We have established a cooperation contract and commenced to collaborate with theUNICEF in the direction of children right protection.Eight our representatives have successfully participated in the Congress of European Children's Camps organized in Bulgaria.
Within the framework of the measures to provide the conditions for implementingthe standards described in the "Children's Camps Activities. General standard requirementsMNS 5633:2006" approved in 2006, we have organized the relevant trainings jointly withthe children's centers of Selenge, Orkhon, Zavkhan and Sukhbaatar provinces except theCapital's Children & Youth Center, children's summer camps and other local professionalorganizations, involving 234 officers from the 43 children's summer camps of Mongolia.
The aforementioned standard requirements have begun to be observed in Mongoliasince the 1st of July 2007.
Within the framework of the project "Advertisement and Public Impact" that isincluded in the UNICEF Child Protection program, for the purpose to increase theparticipation of children's camps in preventing from anti-children violence, organizesummer trainings for camp attendants, and prepare contemporary educators, we haveimplemented the project "Children's Camp-Non-violent environment" .
Also, during this period, we have developed the methodologies for organizingrelevant trainings.
Jointly with the Ulaanbaatar Red-Cross Committee, we appreciated and supportedthe initiative "Health- First medical aids" directed specifically to the humanitarian aids, andsuccessfully implemented the joint program together with the Children's Camp "Javkhlant" .
In the year 2007, we have operated 47 children's camps in total, including 24 in the21 provinces of the country and 23 in the capital Ulaanbaatar.
Presently, we are opening the website www.zuslan.mn in which all necessaryinformation about the Mongolian children's camps are to be located.
The children's cams "Khandgait" , "Nairamdalyn erdenes" and "Zulzagyn gol" haveoccupied the first places by the operational evaluation for the year 2007.
